Worry over nothing

I’ve just been reading an article on Domaining.com – “Google taking over lead generation” and I have to say I really don’t know what everyone is worrying about. As far as the mortgage industry goes it is certainly not game over for the lead generation companies nor for mortgage comparison sites, nor for SEO, nor for PPC. Get a grip for crying out loud!

  • Do you think Google would really hang itself to earn a few extra quid on lead generation…It wouldn’t.
  • Do you think Google actually cares about the mortgage industry and trying to make money from it?…It doesn’t.
  • Do you think Google would earn more by doing this over selling the space to someone else?…It won’t.

AND

  • Has anyone stopped to think that Google just might be testing a new type of PPC advert to BENEFIT the lead generation companies who bid on terms like “mortgage rates” etc? Hmm…

One true rule of business:

Don’t sh*t on your own doorstep…

…and I’m sure Google’s headquarters are stink free right now.

It’s worry over nothing.

    Further more its not a new announcement…and it will simply allow for a better user experience. I suggest if you, like me, are in the domaining and mortgage lead generation industries you embrace these changes
