Vouchers.mobi domain

I bought the Vouchers.mobi domain name a couple of months ago now and this weekend have done a little bit of work to it. I’m an advocate of .mobi domains and I feel that mobile search is only going to get a bigger part of our lives. I find that keeping things simple on the mobile web is the best course of action. I haven’t rushed into anything either as the voucher codes market is so competitive I wanted to be sure that my approach was correct. So what is to become of this prime .mobi domain? Well its all about quick navigation on the mobile web, getting what you want, when you want it. I want people to be using Vouchers.mobi when they are on the bus on the way home or on their lunch at work. Anywhere they would usually surf the web on their mobiles. What about times when you are sitting in a pub with your mates and you say I’m off to Alton Towers tomorrow and your friend says, hey I know where you can get 2-4-1 tickets, they’re in the back of The Sunday Times and its Monday?…I had this exact instance only last week. Well what if they had been available on mobile? That’s it, find it on your mobile when you’re out and about, save it, then go home and use it on your desktop, laptop, netbook or iPad. Easy!

So the initial design is in place, basic, just how I like it. Simply visit my voucher codes website.

My next step is to find a voucher codes company/website who I can become an affiliate of to aggregate their codes into my mobile site as simple text links for mobile users, which then takes them to a second page where the code is displayed. This can then be book marked in their mobiles until later when they want to use it, or even better be shared with their friends. Viral vouchers on mobile…true genius!

So I am now off to contact some voucher code companies
