Toy domain names, toys.com sells for $5.1m

In a heated battle which finally saw toy giant Toy’R'Us go home victorious, the winning bid for ultimate in toy domain names finished at a whopping $5,100,000.

One of the top domain name sales of all time, it is great to see quality dot coms such as this still commanding the value they deserve. For one of the leading toy companies in the world this certainly is the leading domain name. I’m keeping this post brief  for now as I imagine it will not be beaten by the time I do my top 10 domain name sales weekly review on Tuesday.
