Think small and increase mobile web presence

Things that should be focused on with any mobile web development project. How many website owners think about how much their site costs mobile web users to visit in regions where there are data charges?  How many website owners see the mobile web as an integral part of the online marketing campaigns especially in relation to social networking…

A great way to optimise your mobile web site for social networking is to develop a mobile RSS feed which you can add onto many social networking sites or install the app of that particular site which will link your updates to your profile updates, just like many do for the likes of Twitter or Facebook.

There has been a recent article about the Google Caffeine update from SiteProNews.com which states,”the number of social bookmarks may play an increased role in achieving high rankings…” With the massive increase of over 1000% in the usage of mini-urls on mobile web devices during 2009, and its direct correlation to the success of social networking and micro blogging sites such as Twitter, isn’t it time your start thinking small and increase your mobile web presence?
