Selling domains on social networks 18th March
The second week of my selling domains on social networks has now come to an end, well it actually ended on the 16th March but I’ve been a bit busy so this post is two days late. Selling domains on social networks 9th March 2009
Last week I wrote a post about selling domains on social networks which was an experiment to see how using Twitter and Mixx would generate traffic to my domain name listings. Twitter, Twellow and twomain names!
I’ve just been on Web Pro News to find a great new app called Twellow which allows you to search within your friends and followers on Twitter. I have to say it amazes me the amount of twitter-based domain names (or shall we call them twomain names! ha ha! Thats a rubbish joke…) that have popped up. Some not quite as good as other, I might add, but the guys at Web Pro News have done a good job here with well over 1m Twitter profiles now registered on their app. Well done!
So with the exponential growth of Twitter over the last few months, how will this affect the domain name industry?
Comments anyone?
