Researching keyword domains, the correct way

Having not written a post about keyword domains for a while, and since I will be doing a presentation in a couple of weeks at Think Visibility in Leeds on the subject, I have been doing some reading and sharpening my knowledge ready for the event. Here are some thoughts of mine about researching keyword domains, the correct way.

Choosing a keyword domain to register or purchase on the aftermarket is about finding an opportunity in the market and the right asset that will help to maximise your return on investment. Do you just want a slice of the pie or the whole cake? You make the choice. › Continue reading

News for domains

I was reading an interesting post the other day about using the date at the start or each blog post and having your blog included in Google News either by direct submission or by using a guaranteed platform like PRweb.com. 3ac on first page for domains?

First page on Google UK for domainsI’ve been doing SEO work to 3ac.co.uk, targeting the keyword “domains” for some time and had been floating around page 3 for a while on Google UK. However an impromptu check this evening and I have found myself leap frog to position 10 on the first page! I had to look twice and also check to see whether web history customisations was turned ON, but it’s not. 3ac.co.uk has genuinely made it to the first page for the word “DOMAINS.” Can I get a woop, woop?! › Continue reading
