In this weeks edition I look at the top 20 domains I have parked with Sedo from a collection of 74, spanning finance, retail, gaming and other industries. I then dissect the results with how well they have been marketed on the social networks of Twitter and Mixx, showing you an insight into my analytics pages.

Week three of my selling domains on social networks series of posts. For those of you who are SDOSN virgins, this series of weekly posts sees me using Twitter and Mix to market a selection of now 74 domain names, all listed on Sedo with no reserve (so yes you can bid on them) Each week I report back the statistics showing whch domains names were viewed most frequently and which social network, Twitter or Mixx contributed the most referrals/visitors. And hopefully sales! Although in three weeks we have only seen two sales and one of those was actually before I started the posts…hmm. Anyway let us proceed and see how things have faired over the last 3 weeks. Oh and excuse the totally crap graphic design this week. Selling domains on social networks 18th March

The second week of my selling domains on social networks has now come to an end, well it actually ended on the 16th March but I’ve been a bit busy so this post is two days late. The last seven or so days have been interesting I have to say with the sale of expected.net going through nicely, one which wasn’t included in last weeks post. Continuing in good old Gary Taylor fashion, I have changed the way I want to do things again and this week have featured not just the top 20 domains names by how many views to offer they had on Sedo, but also the ones which received direct traffic as a result of my social networking chat on Mixx and Twitter.  So here you have it… › Continue reading
