SERPs Kickstart Package For New Domains
I have been doing some link building research recently for various clients and also for 3ac.co.uk and as you will all know having a brand new domain means you have to work extra hard to get your rankings off the starting block. One of the girls in the office asked why a competitors site was doing better than a new site we were working on when we have built virtually the same amount of links, and to purposes ours are better quality. The content was more SEO friendly and basically she felt that we should be ranking higher…so why weren’t we? The difference was that the competitors domain was 3 years old and our was 3 months. Of course! Brand new domains require time to get “trusted” by Google! But what can be done to build this trust sooner rather than later and in the most efficient way possible? › Continue reading
My 3D Ready TV Domains progress
So I have spent another couple of hours setting up my Amazon affiliate links for 3DReadyTV.co.uk. At the moment there are only a handful of TVs available on their platform but it is enough to get the site off the ground content-wise so that I can begin some link building. The main idea being hear that I get the site ranking and generating traffic. Once this is happening I can then start to play around more with the products in terms of placement, affiliate programs etc to increase conversion rates. › Continue reading
Does article writing actually boost your domains ranking
Am I just wasting my time with old hack when thinking about article writing as a way of boost my domains ranking? I have recently amended some of my existing articles on ezinearticles.com to put this to the challenge. First of all I want to see if they generate much traffic, secondly I want to see if they pass on any PR at all to help my domains in the SERPs › Continue reading
Link building using RSS feed submissions
I have spent the last few weeks researching and collating over 200 RSS feed sites/directories which I can submit 3ac to to gain exposure and inbound links. I have now finished creating my spreadsheet of the sites I have collated and am working my way through them all manually to submit 3ac’s RSS feed to them. I am on number 20 of 212…so quite a long way to go. However the sites I have chosen are well visited and relatively well regarded as some of the top sites to have your RSS feeds listed on. Some are free sites, some require a reciprocal link, some require to be paid for a listing and others are human edited only listing the sites they feel are worthy enough to be mentioned on their site. › Continue reading
Regular content updates and RSS for link building
Link building holds a huge amount of weight in mobile SEO and a vital part of link building with any website is creating fresh and unique content on a regular basis. This may sound an easy feat but maintaining a regular feed of interesting and relevant material that will engage your visitors and keep them coming back for more, but more importantly get them to be linking back to is harder than it sounds. The key is to provide small updates to your site as often as possible rather than doing one big update every so often. › Continue reading
