Domain Names For Sale In May
As it another month comes to a close, it’s time to have a sort through some more domains and see if I can clean up my portfolio. I have been whittling down the amount of domain names I have over the last 6-12 months in an attempt to focus on developing a select handful and also purchase some new ones which I have had my eye on for a while. The selection of domain names I have for sale below are a mixed bag of .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk and a single .me with a mixture of product, financial, one word and two-character domains, including a little collection of car parking domain names. › Continue reading
Think Visibility 5
So it’s Sunday afternoon and I have just got back home from a fabulous weekend at Think Visibility 5. It was another extremely successful event and it never ceases to amaze me how well Dom and his team cope with all the organisation that must be required to put on an event like this and have it run so smoothly. An eleven strong line-up of speakers graced the two stages and a number of highlights made the weekend a true online marketing treat!

Domaining Requires Diversity
My first post of 2011 and its time to take stock of the domain name industry and identify the areas which will bring the greatest return for domainers this year. The top two sales in 2010 were as much as the entire top ten reported sales in 2009, but whilst the big hitters landed what was actually happened across the industry?
The facts:
The .com extension remained pretty stagnant with average prices increasing by just £31 from £1,600 to £1,631 from the previous year. But bad news for those of you investing in ccTLDs as the .co.uk extension dropped by over a half from £2,036 down to £933 since Q4 of 2009. [Source: Sedo]
Now I don’t know you, but if you were a home owner and were told your property was worth only a half of what it was just 12 months ago, you’d be pretty pissed. › Continue reading
