Mobile domains
One area which I feel will become a huge market over the next few years is the integration of mobile technology in the domain name industry. Therefore hedging my bets, I have decided to start a regular post about Mobile Domains to keep you up to date with the movements in the mobile industry across the areas of mobile marketing, mobile search engine optimisation and mobile technology in relation to the domain name industry.
We have had dot mobi domains now since 2006, but have they turned heads…not really. Has the power of mobile even been touched upon in the world of domaining. NO WAY!
The real head turner will now be how the development of existing domain extentions will be implemented to maximise the exposure of a website across the mobile internet.
