SEO work for my secured loan site
I’ve been working on building more links into my secured loan lead generation website searchandapply.co.uk. The site isn’t visually amazing but the functionality is still pretty good and works very well for SEO purposes. After along time of not updating the site my rankings were dropping rapidly but now I have started link building and content updates again, the rankings are coming back, reinforcing the importance of staying up to date with new content etc to maximise your sites potential.
Currently Search & Apply ranks 1st page on Google for terms like fast secured loan, apply personal loan, self certification loans etc. however these are all niche terms and I am now going after some more of the big guns, like “home improvement loans” and “secured loans.” These are the money earners in the market at the moment, so efforts need to go into over drive to get to first page fr thses prior to me unveiling the new site design which has been on hold whilst the market has been so turbulent. Currently the sites is receiving about 3000 page views per day. BIG MISTAKE at the moment which many affiliate marketers will be shouting at their screens about is that I have no banners or adsense whatsoever on the site! Lots of missed revenue, but thats not the point for the moment. The point is I want my site to rank with the big boys. The Moneysupermarkets and Confused.coms of this world. Can it be done in such a competitive market? Searchandapply.co.uk rank first page for “secured loans” wit the efforts of just one?! Lets see.
Referring back to my recent post about a new direction on this site, I am definitely going to start commenting on my other projects and bring 3Ac into the realm of all things web related which I am involved in.
So there you have it, the moral of this story is, times change and you must adapt to new markets and new online strategies and if you don’t you’ll just get left behind!
All the best
Gary
