Redeveloping my loans website

Today I have spent my time, mapping out how I want to redevelop my secured loans website. I’m up in Glasgow at the moment staying in a hotel, for work, not pleasure, but I finished early today and set about brain storming this long overdue task. I haven’t touched the site for some time, and it is in need of an overhaul. Amidst the current turmoil in UK financial services, I see this as my time to get stuck back into it again.

I have seen many of my old competitors from a few years back go out of business and shut their websites down completely after trying to battle through the devastation caused in the secured loans industry. I was happy to bow out as the decline started, taking to heart the old saying, “He who stops spending on advertising when the market is going tits up, lives to fight another day!”…or something like that.

So as we have pretty much reached the lowest point the sector could reach, I am making the assumption that the only way is up moving forward and I need to capitalise on that.

So what does my redevelopment plan consist of:

• Rebrand and new graphic design of the site
• WordPress based content management system
• One simple enquiry form
• New URL structure and SEO friendly site build
• New link building strategy
• New keyword strategy
• Social media integration

Much of this isn’t reinventing the wheel but I have some other ideas up my sleeve which I wish to try out. Things not being done within the secured loans sector online.
