Mobile websites for niche industries

I’m off to London this Friday and I’m pretty excited about it, we have been working hard on developing our mobile platform further and have made huge progress with our glamour models/adult website. After speaking to so many people about it and with what we are achieving, we are off to “The Smoke” to talk with a company about not only developing mobile sites for their clients but also for them too. The power of mobile market knows no bounds!

The potential the mobile web has in comparison to PC based search is that it already has significantly higher conversion rates due to the demographic of people using it. These people are looking for something specific and want it then and there, very few people at the moment just surfer the mobile web idly because of the heavily reduced speed of access compared to pc based search and of course many websites not actually being compatible with mobile devices.

So anyway, as you can appreciate, I can’t go into too much detail just yet with who the client is, but it is definitely something I will keep you posted on as it progresses. I have already decided a recommendation of using a .mobi domain in addition to their .com site which will allow us to have the main website and mobile ranking at the same time. We will also be looking at new ways of marketing them across social networks, something not being utilised enough or correctly in this particular industry, and no its not the Adult industry again! ha ha.

Anyway, only a brief update this time

Speak soon
