Mobile web page views up 93.9% in UK
In the latest mobile web trends report by Opera on the state of the mobile web, figures show that mobile web page views have increased by 93.9% since August 2008 and the number of unique visitors has increased by 45%. This is fantastic news for the mobile web development market as it clearly demonstrates that mobile search is undertaking huge growth and that we can expect great things to come in the future. The report is generated from the usage of Opera’s two flagship products, Opera Mobile and Opera Mini, with Nokia, LG, Samsung and Sony Ericsson mobile devices being extremely popular. Blackberry do feature as one of Opera’s top devices however iPhone users are excluded.
Opera is the most popular mobile web browser across the globe surpassing 30 million monthly users and processing almost 200 million Mega Bytes of information, thats 200,000,000,000,000 bytes or 2 PETABYTES of raw data!!
