Link building for my mobile web development blog
I have been continuing with link building for my mobile web development blog, by submitting my RSS feed to various RSS feed submission sites and directories. I have just submitted 3ac.co.uk to another 10 this evening, which has taken some time I must add and cost me a few dollars for some featured listings, but hey its almost Christmas and with the dollar at 1.6 against the pound, the featured listing came in cheaper than I expected! Bonus!…
So the next few, I’ll give you a sneaky peak, included sites like rsshugger.com, Blogville.us and Scribnia.com all of which offered a variation of featured, paid and reciprocal listings and other formats of gaining exposure for your blog and RSS feed.
From my first post after submitting to 15 of the sites, I had got 26 new inbound links and an increase in traffic of 6% from referring sites, which is quite significant really considering the relatively small amount of time invested so far. Ranking 7th page of Google UK for “Mobile Web Development” I will now be able to monitor the results to see how the RSS exposure increases my rankings. I am also ranking page 3 for “mobile web development blog.”
More to come on this one.

Hello just came across your blog and i thank you for your story it was informative. I am curious about link building for my site too. Have you used the scrapebox.com tool? If so is it good? If not then what is the best tool? Thank you.
I don’t use link building tools, the best way to get quality links is not to manufacture them…
Write content on your site which is informative and relative to your target audience and get spreading the word by making genuine contributions to forums and social networking groups…
After some time and effort your will reap the rewards
