Google is playing me up
It appears that Google has developed a sense on humour and is enjoying playing me up. For the second time this month I have checked 3ac.co.uk’s position on Google UK for the keywords “domains” and for second time it has placed me on the first page briefly before returning me back to the top of the 3rd?
Check out the screen shot below:
So what’s the deal? I cleared my cache, browsing history etc. and Google’s search history customizations were not on so I’m still at a loss as to why Google keeps throwing me up onto the first page for domains? Here was the first time it did it.
I would consider myself pretty competent when it comes to search and SEO and although I have seen Google play with rankings for newer domains with likes of the their “sandbox” and stuff like that, 3ac.co.uk is an established domain, active since 2002, DMOZ listed for years and all that. So its seems a bit bizarre that Google should be so fickle with it’s placement.
I would love to hear off anyone who has had, or is experiencing the same situation, what are your thoughts?
