In my review I also coined a new term for the domain name industry.
GENERICICITY (pronounced, gen-eri-sis-itee)
noun. The measure of a domain names’ genericness.
I think I might create a “Genericicity calculator” which people can enter their domain names into and find out how generic their domain name is. It could rate a domain names’ genericness based on quality; number of characters, listed in the dictionary, search volume, ease of spelling etc. These could all be variables. Ha ha, it would make for a nice little tool to play around with!
