Domain development update
I wrote a post last week about a black jack domain name and mentioned it would be interesting to re-visit its progress to see if the new owner would actually develop it. Lets see how they are getting on.
Well it seems that they have got the right idea and have gone for development as opposed to parking the domain. The site has under gone a basic wordpress facelift and content has been uploaded onto it and although I cannot read Italian I am guessing the content is being optimised for the search engines. It seems the online gaming industry is becoming a huge market expecially in Italy and France, with many online gaming-related domain names being purchased within these two countries; domain name sales of considerable note in the European gaming community include Parierenligne.fr (betting online in French) which sold for $39,000 on the 3rd of Feb 2009 through Sedo. Roulette.it was another Italian domain name which hit the $30k mark and PokerGratuit.fr (free poker in French) which managed $27,000 also through top domain auction site Sedo.
