Do Google Snippets feature in mobile search?

I have been following Google’s progress recently with their “Snippets” feature and have think it is a brilliant concept to add real value to your search results, just like the introduction of their review stars tool. One question that I have been unable to find the answer too is, “Do Google Snippets feature in mobile search?”

I have posted this question on two sites, Google’s Forum and WebProNews.com in an attempt to get a definitive answer as I feel they will play an important part in creating a more interactive mobile internet and a useful tool for mobile seo.

So what are Snippets and what uses do they have?

A Snippet is the small preview which Google displays for each web result, below is how 3ac shows up in the SERPs and how it could look with the added features, notes the review stars and the quick links,w hich would help users go straight to that section, rather than my homepage.

Here’s how the site is displayed in Google’s mobile results:

My thoughts are that the Snippets algorithm must be able to function in the mobile SERPs, however I just want confirmation if it has been implemented.

Do you know?
