Dating domains
There’s no doubt about it, online dating is a massive industry, growing stronger and more competitive by the minute. The dating industry knows no bounds when it comes to domain names and has coverage for pretty much every dating niche you could think of from adult dating, to dog lovers dating. With domain name sales for dating domains reaching into the thousands it is fair to assume that the market for “silver surfer” dating is going to become quite large.
I have just been onto domain auction site Sedo to find that maturedating.com is currently up for auction with six days remaining. The domain opened with a bid of $4,000 and the .co.uk and .net versions are currently up for grabs too. Funny to see that the .mobi extension is still available, lets see how long it takes for someone to snap that little beauty up for just a few quid.
Hmmm, it does however pose the question, would old people use mobile phones to meet each other for a cheeky liason down the bingo club? What a great niche. Development potential? DEFINITELY! 
I am going to keep an eye on this one for the moment…
