Adult domains, grow some balls and get developing!
For the last few months I have been toying with the idea of investing in adult domains. Already holding a few to my name across the adult dating and porn industries, I have become more aware of the fact that the adult domain name industry has massive potential for…ahem…growth (excuse the pun!) especially where development is concerned.
However, establishing yourself in either industry is not as easy as you think, firstly both are hugely competitive and secondly there are many aspects of online marketing that cannot simply be integrated the same way with adult domains…the likes of Facebook are not exactly welcoming to adverts entitled “Download Hot Porn Today!” so as you can imagine I have been hesitant when putting my money where my mouth is…
So…hands up. Who here has had an online marketing expert tell them to shut up and grow some balls?
Well I have… and now I’m damn glad they did.
Last week I made a brave decision and stumped up a very conservative, five figure budget for the project. Officially biting the bullet and dismissing all hesitations about moving into the adult industry. I have partnered with two major players in SEM and mobile development and as a threesome (god these adult innuendos just keeping coming, oops and there’s another! How childish!) the work has begun.
The new project will feature in the “my projects” section so stay tuned for more info. We hope to be launching at the start of April.
