I was reading an interesting post the other day about using the date at the start or each blog post and having your blog included in Google News either by direct submission or by using a guaranteed platform like PRweb.com. I’m testing how clever Google really is tonight when it comes to “knowing” what is contained within the content of a particular post or page of a website. I have selected a long tail keyphrase, “web hosting domain name registration” from Google Adwords for the title of this post and will write a load of jibberish, only mentioning the keyphrase a few times, to see if in fact the post ranks well and how long it stays ranking for on the power of 3ac.co.uk and the title only. Registration of DomainsThe Domain Name Industry ended the first quarter of 2010 with a base of more than 193 million domain name registrations across all of the Top Level Domain Names (TLDs), an increase of 11 million domain name registrations, or 6 percent, compared to the first quarter of 2009.
