Key to ranking on Google
I’ve been having a think about what actually is the key to ranking on Google and how does this help me with developing my domains… where am I going this blog post? Well, its very hard to mention the phrase domain name industry without being sucked into the huge abyss that is search and online marketing. I mean, what’s the point in having a domain name? So I’m finding myself in a position whereby I believe I should be including more information about search engine optimisation and online marketing and how these tools affect the domain name industry and domain development as a whole. Your name dot com
You know what has really annoyed me, the fact I never registered Gary Taylor dot com! If you suffer from the similar handicap to me of having a really common name and sharing it with global musicians and worlds strongest men etc…you simply have to settle for a not quite so good TLD. I’ve got garytaylor.info, but do you know what?…I just don’t like the sound of .info domains. So I don’t use it…rant over.
